Nick Cherrie is a long-time Buce player. He is a defender.

History[edit]

Nick Cherrie started playing Buce towards the end of 2007. He joined The Avalanches in 2009 for the 2009 Buce League at the request of captain Charlie Rogers. Despite criticism that he was not fit for such competitive Buce, he managed under a specialised position termed as the "core defender". Under this heavily defensive position, he managed to help fellow defender Jacob Dawes in leaving The Avalanches with only one conceded point in the entire league.

Cherrie played limitedly in the 2009 Winter Buce League, again alongside Dawes and a more prominent Rick Osman, keeping The Avalanches' defensive strength intact.
