Nick Allan is captained the Hawks throughout the Winter League, and Michael Read played one match on his return to Newcastle after serving his jail sentence in Holland. A number of other ex-Hawks and rookies have donned the Hawks colours towards the end of the Winter League as uni holidays commenced. The Hawks lineup in descending order of number of games played: *Nick Allan *Mitch Furner *Laurie Jones (Injured early in season, missed majority) *Daniel Herd *Daniel Carr *Samuel Curley *Tim Abel *Andrew Shakespeare *Mandeep Anand *Phillip Chow
