An argumentum ad antiquitatem, Joel Steele has seen Buce prosper from the very beginnings of its humble journey. A renowned midfielder and Buddhist Steele has spent countless hours contemplating distance verses power to master the long shot. Albeit not achieving the sacred "Double Buce" Joel is one of the purest of souls when it comes to double points.

History[edit]

Joel Steele's entry into Buce was problematic to say the least. His natural gift of Buce was pitted against his love for a women, in his words, "never more neglected than admired". Buce lost out and Joel's presence in the first league was minimal. Joel's heart was shattered after an "op-shopping" spree with his Juliet left him realising that consumerism drives her heart more so than the emotional attachment he thought they had formed. Tormented by his loss he turned to Buddhism to relinquish the malignant spirit of romantic notions he once held.

Joel returned to Buce in 2009 and found peace upon the court. Off the court Joel was haunted by a new reminiscence: He was not apart of the Original 8 due to his heart's folly. Diving fully into Buddhism Joel neglected his role in Sonic Force Buce Club to think about the temple.

The start of the 2009 Winter League brought Joel back into the Buce world. Having achieved several positions of Nirvana he fully applied himself to The Sunflower's fight for glory. He had earned a reputation which brought wariness from coach Guy Bevan due to his past actions and found himself often on the receiving end of harsh criticism. Conquering the negativities placed on him Joel flourished and became a deserving player of recognition in the new league.

Joel has been recruited into the 2010 League by The Snowflowers. It is still in dispute if Joel lays in Buddha's bed or Buce's Bed.
