==Revival?== Soon after the announcement of NBN's cancellation, Tre Clifford and Hamish Rogers announced plans to host a weekly news program themselves, starting with coverage of Round 5 of the 2010 Buce League. Whether it was to be a continuation of National Buce News or a new concept was never realised, as the project never moved out of "development hell". In May 2010 the possibility of producing a new season of National Buce News to coincide with the Winter League of 2010 was examined. Ex-Presenter and Producer Nick Allan volunteered to develop the new season, and some preliminary work was done, but the series never eventuated. The long-awaited 2011 Buce League brought fresh calls for new material from BuceTV by fans and the production crew of the original series. It is not yet known whether or not new content would take the form of full new episodes of National Buce News, or whether some other type of series, or possibly individually packaged releases, would be the replacement. Whatever form it ends up taking, the possibility of seeing new content in 2011 from BuceTV remains high.
