== Qualifying and Rules ==
The award is a perpetual, opinion-based award in which the previous winner of the award decides in an autocratic manner who is deserving of the "[[Guy Bevan]] "Stray Dog" Award". The award cannot be won by voting nor popular opinion.
To qualify for the "Guy Bevan "Stray Dog" Award" a player must show a gross lack of skill in most areas of Buce and convince the previous winner that he/she is worthy of this award.

Rules pertaining to the passing of the award are very simple:
*The winner may not select the player who passed him the award during the next league
*The award may not be passed to a player who has not played at least 70% of the league
*Traditionally the award must be presented at the Awards Ceremony and be accompanied by a speech by the previous winner
*The sponsor of the award may declare a null pass and evoke the passing privileges if any of the rules are disregarded
