==Prehistory== [[Image:1dd428dc4553125c81486e27e3f5885d.jpg|thumb|200px|A prehistoric metallic artwork of a group [[hackeysack|hackeysacking]] with a stone. Note the one who has just dropped the stone was proven to be an ancestor of [[Ashley Everson|Evie]].]] In neolithic times it is believed that footbag was a popular sport for farmers in Britain and Europe who were known to kick turnips and potatoes around for fun. As the need for bins became high, the use of clay to mould bins became popular, buce is therefore the reason for the creation of pottery. It is recorded in Herodotus of Halicarnassus' "The Histories" that Greek hackey sacking was a popular pastime by the Spartan warriors. It is generally thought that the Spartans used the heads of archers as a footbag, and the crowns of the Persian kings they slayed as bins.
